Desert Foothills YMCA & Community Center
Scottsdale, Arizona
- This 48,000 SF campus includes classrooms, recreation, and community multi-purpose spaces. S&A provided the geotechnical investigation and the construction materials testing.
Peoria Community Center Expansion
Peoria, Arizona
- The Peoria Community Center is a 26,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of downtown Peoria. It serves as a multi-purpose space for community events, meetings, lectures, and activities.
Morenci Community Center
Morenci, Arizona
- A new 55,200 SF community center that includes an indoor/outdoor pool with water slides as well as climbing wall, two-court gymnasium, a racquetball court, two fitness areas, indoor playground, a jogging track, multi-purpose space, and a café. This project also included in a 6,700 SF detached daycare facility with seven-day care rooms, entryway, office area, kitchen, and storage space.
Pecos Park Community Center
Phoenix, Arizona
- The Pecos Community Center, located in the city park of the same name boasts more than 38,000 square feet of space and a wide range of sports and general interest classes and programs. Pecos Park is a large regional park that features a skate park, swimming pool, dog park and several athletic fields. Pecos Community Center has a full-size gymnasium, a dance room, game room, classrooms and multi-purpose rooms.
ASU Hayden Library Renovation
Tempe, Arizona
- One of the most iconic buildings on ASU's main campus underwent a magnificent, award-winning restoration. S&A was a part of the project early on providing the geotechnical investigation for the project. In addition the preservation and rejuvenation of the building itself, the project involved filling in portions of the lower concourse level, adding new storm water vaults, new stairs, new hardscape and landscaping.
Heroes Park Regional Library
Glendale, Arizona
- Heroes Park Regional Library opened in 2019. The 7,515 SF building features space for books, movies, music, and a drive-up book return.
Arabian Library
Scottsdale, Arizona
- This 20,875 SF library was completed in 2007. Visually, the building embodies the desert slot canyons of northern Arizona and functionally is based on contemporary bookstore concepts with a 120,000 volume collection as well as a coffee bar, children's program room, two multi-purpose rooms, computer center, and a dedicated teen area.
ASU Polytechnic Campus | University Archives Library Expansion
Mesa, Arizona
- The project involves the design and construction of an addition to ASU's Main Remote Library Storage Building located at Polytechnic Campus. The addition adjoins the existing facility to the south is for two storage modules of 19,665 combined square feet with Mechanical Mezzanines at west end of building comprised of 2,206 combined square feet.
