Speedie & Associates has worked on projects all across Arizona from north to south, east to west. In fact, it's rare when a client inquires about a piece of land we haven't touched in some way since our inception in 1980. Fraesfield Trailhead Improvements
Scottsdale, Arizona
- The Fraesfield Trailhead is located at 13400 E. Rio Verde Drive and provides public access to Scottsdale's McDowell Sonoran Preserve. In 2013, the City completed preliminary improvements at each site, including access control gates, gravel surfacing for dust control, and pipe rail fencing to prevent motor vehicles from leaving the designated parking areas. Other amenities that have been added or improved include restrooms, passenger vehicle parking areas, equestrian trail parking, and staging areas, signage, shaded seating areas, drinking fountains, and storage areas for maintenance.
Granite Mountain Trailhead Improvements
Scottsdale, Arizona
- The Granite Mountain Trailhead is located at 31402 N. 136th St. Amenities that have been added or improved as part of the City of Scottsdale's Trailhead Improvements program include restrooms, passenger vehicle parking areas, equestrian trail parking, and staging areas, signage, shaded seating areas, drinking fountains, and storage areas for maintenance.
Pima/Dynamite Trailhaed
Scottsdale, Arizona
- This new trailhead will provide parking and support amenities for public recreational access to the extensive network of trails in the northern region of Scottsdale's McDowell Sonoran Preserve. The first phase of the trailhead will include: Parking for 200 or more passenger vehicles, parking for at least 12 horse trailers, restrooms, hitching rails and water trough, covered ramada and small educational amphitheater, signage, lighting, office/storage space with storage yard, drinking fountains, entry roads with automatic access control gates.
Lost Dog Trailhead
Scottsdale, Arizona
- Located at 12602 N. 124th St., the trailhead includes parking, restrooms, shade ramadas, water, horse-trailer parking, hitching rails, water trough, directional signage, accessible nature trail.
Terramar Park
Peoria, Arizona
- Construction Materials Testing provided for this Peoria park including sidewalks, walking trails, shade structures, and a parking lot.
Cataract Lake Park
Williams, Arizona
- Project involved the construction of a bathroom building, Ramadas, shade structures, and roadway at parking improvements at the existing park.
Sunset Park
Sedona, Arizona
- Sunset Park is 7.46 acres. The park features two shaded play areas, including one for small children, adult recreation areas, and ramadas where you can enjoy lunch and the beautiful natural setting. Splash pad, Two tennis courts, Basketball court / Pickle Ball court, & a 1/10 mile Lollipop Trail. S&A provided the geotechnical investigation for the reconstruction of two tennis courts and one basketball court.
Riverview Park
Mesa, Arizona
- Riverview Park features a community fishing lake, spray ground with multiple water features, playgrounds, shaded picnic areas, shaded play structures, miles of sidewalks, and restrooms.
McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park
Scottsdale, Arizona
- McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is a 40-acre railroad park located in Scottsdale, Arizona. It features a 15 in gauge railroad, a Magma Arizona Railroad locomotive, a railroad museum, three model railroad clubs, and a 7 ¹â„â‚‚ in gauge live steam railroad.
Tempe Beach Park
Tempe, Arizona
- Tempe Beach Park is a 25-acre park that has been a recreation destination since the 1920s. With the construction of Tempe Town Lake in 1999, the Beach Park underwent a transformation adding shade structures, activity areas, and paved trails all with direct access to the lake and downtown Tempe.
