Compass Data Center
Goodyear, Arizona
- S&A provided the geotechnical investigation for this new data center campus, located at 400 S. Bullard Avenue. Upon buildout, the campus will consist of eight buildings with three substations. Each building will be 227KSF and 30 feet high. S&A is currently providing construction materials testing services.
Stream Data Centers
Goodyear, Arizona
- Stream's Phoenix campus in Goodyear, AZ includes the first of five planned facilities, beginning with a 418,200-square-foot hyperscale data center on 157 acres of land. The phase I facility will support 40+ MW of critical load, now available with an initial 4.5 MW of capacity. At full build, the entire campus will support up to 2 million square feet of data center facilities and 200 MW of critical load, establishing its place as the largest hyperscale campus development in the Greater Phoenix area.
- S&A provided a Phase I environmental assessment and geotechnical investigation on the property that was comprised of agricultural, vacant, and industrial land partially developed with a 418,200 square-foot warehouse building. The purpose of the assessment and investigation was for a major tenant improvement both inside and outside of a 10-year old facility that was never occupied. S&A also provided various testing and inspection services during the construction phase for
- the contractor.
Mesa Edge Core Data Center
Mesa, Arizona
- S&A provided construction material testing services for the 1.25 million-SF campus. This includes seven data halls, staging and storage areas adjacent to loading docks, and secure site entry. The first of the seven data halls is complete and totals 178,252 SF with an adjoining 20,000 SF of office and associated support space. The two-story building, located on the southwest corner of the campus closest to the main entrance, has 32 MW of critical load capacity. The non-raised floor design features air-cooling using 68 highly-efficient chilled water computer room air handlers per building. Mechanical systems are housed in equipment galleries next to the data halls on each floor. Thousands of system sensors placed in CRAH units, racks, drop downs from the ceiling, and pipes send information to the building management system to provide air side controls and alarming. This project is LEED certified Silver.
CyrusOne Building 1
Chandler, Arizona
- A one-story, 88,260 square foot space that houses a data center and the CRAH Gallery. S&A provided construction material testing services for this project.
CyrusOne Building 2 & 8
Chandler, Arizona
- Buildings 2 & 8 are office space and data centers. The office space is a two-story, 17,958 SF space built from a steel frame and tilt-up concrete. The two-story data center features 162,404 square feet of space and is made from a steel frame and tilt-up concrete. S&A provided construction material testing services for this project.
CyrusOne Building 3
Chandler, Arizona
- S&A provided construction material testing services for this office building and data center. The office building is 78,000 square feet and consists of a steel frame and pre-cast concrete exterior skim. The data center is one-story, 88,000 square feet and made from a steel frame and pre-cast concrete.

Chandler, Arizona
- CyrusOne Building 4 - S&A provided construction material testing services for this 100,000 SF data center.
- CyrusOne Building 5- S&A provided construction material testing services for this 105,000 SF data center.
Iron Mountain Data Center - AZP2 B1
Phoenix, Arizona
- The 48-megawatt, 550,000 SF data center will double the size of the Phoenix campus with a 9-acre expansion to support customer demand. A two-phase development plan is underway, with an initial delivery of 24 megawatts. S&A provided construction material testing services for this data center.
CONFIDENTIAL Data Center
Goodyear, Arizona
- A data center to be developed in phases on a 43.6-acre lot. The initial building will be 43,000 SF with a 50,000 SF equipment yard. S&A provided geotechnical, environmental and construction material testing services for this project.
NTT Global Data Center
Mesa, Arizona
- Geotechnical investigation was conducted on this 76.3-acre. This data center will be developed in phases and Phase I is a 100,000 SF building.
CONFIDENTIAL Data Center
Goodyear, Arizona
- With 242MW of capacity, the Goodyear campus is one of the Phoenix area's largest data center campuses. The 190-acre site provides plenty of room to grow. The Goodyear campus currently offers two Tier III certified buildings with 6MW and 32MW of capacity and features two on-site sub-station and 3 diverse fiber paths.
